The original JJ's Blues club has been around for 21 years, giving it plenty of time to mature into a dive bar that transcends the young 'uns' ironic appreciation of all that is out-of-date and out-of-style. Sure, it's a dive bar, but the cover charge and live blues music keeps the hipsters at bay, making this dark, narrow little hallway of a bar with a stage a true stronghold for the working-class blues lovers.
